"A beautiful heritage estate of large proportions and character. The history was fascinating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were superb. A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. "Overall our stay was good. As with most hotels, unless their wet rooms, for disabled visitors, are newly installed, we found the grab rails are quite dirty and dusty. We have stayed in this room before where I mentioned a trip hazard in the room where there is a bulge in the carpet.
