"The Metropole is a reminder of the glory days of Llandrindod, a big Victorian hotel that has changed little over the years. The food is generally good and plentiful and the service is very good. The spa is worth a visit, the facilities are very good, especially the pool area. The hotel is starting to look a little shabby again, but is clean and tidy. We have been staying here for years and will come back again. "
"Rob and Liz were great hosts. The property was immaculate and far exceeded our expectations. This was a perfect base for us to explore Wales taking a different motorcycle circuit each day."
