"We like the flexibility of an apartment rather than a hotel, but were pleased to find the same level of facilities as a good hotel. Great to have full sized toiletries, a well equipped kitchen, working WiFi and good air conditioning. This apartment was close to everything we needed,, transport links, restaurants and shops. We did ask for a late check out which was dealt with very efficiently. We will use Sonder again if they are in the right location."

"The property is very clean and neat. We stayed as a family with kids for 3 days. The fact that this place quite literally sandwiched between Lidl and Carrefour supermarkets was extremely convenient. Right in the front is the metro station, and many tourist attractions including the palace, Plaza de Sol, Plaza Mayor, etc were easily walkable. However, the neighborhood in front of the property was shady looking - ran into large crowd of people smoking weed and abusing substances."

"It was centrally located. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities. Check in was so easy and good communication with Domi. It was located in the Bario de Las Letras. Great place if you want to be where all the restaurants, bars and clubs are. Would definitely go back. 5 stars for sure."

"desk staff has no flexibility dealing with credit card payments over the phone, I had phone issues upon reaching Madrid & the desk agent made me come to their office just to complete the payment process, just plain absurd since the office has my credit card info to reserve the unit, the agent could easily have easily processed the payment & give the entry code for the property over the phone, NO need for a subway ride to the office just to be given the entry code, what a hassle!"

"Great location, the apartment is in the middle of the main tourist area but you could not hear any noise when the window was closed. My only complaint is that both bed mattresses are old and sink in too far when sleeping causing back and hip pain for both my husband and I and we are only young, they really need to be replaced."

"Great place to stay in the heart of Madrid. You can walk everywhere and the Metro nearby anyway. With lots of cases you might want an Uber from the airport (about 20-25 Euros). Can be noisy if you are used to the quiet but hey you are in a big European capital. Highly reccommend."

"Positives. Location is fantastic, in the middle of everything and close to metro but off the Main Street and quiet enough. Staff working us very helpful and friendly. Negatives. Apartment is small and dated, furniture beat up. Frying pan all scraped and unsafe to use. I boiled water for my tea in 6-7 liter pot as there was none smaller. Dryer is ancient. Bathroom has very little counter space. "
