The hotel is very near the main station which is great for getting about. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a large choice. The area itself is very nice with lots of cafes.

Perfect spot to experience Bochum
Everything is in a walking distance and the hotel is a nice and quiet escape from the town’s busy center. All the town’s sights, shopping and restaurants are just some steps away. Vegan options in the menu and at the breakfast were a nice bonus!

I went to meet my friends from Germany. This hotel is close to the railway station and the city centre. I think it is a very good value for money hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful hotel, poor vibes.
Beautiful hotel, spacious & comfortable room, perfect location and spotless clean. The man who did our check in was very nice & helpful, but in general, the staff & atmosphere were pretty cold & distant. The restaurant & bar were closed 2 nights out of our 3 and the lobby lights were dimmed ..no visible staff at the reception, so the hotel felt empty & deserted.

Standard mecure hotel close to train station
This is probably the best hotel in Bochum, must based on the lack of quality alternatives. It is still room for improvement regarding gym/fitness opportunities. The the overall view is a standard Mecure hotel with very good location close to the train station!

Pretty good hotel
The hotel was very clean and nice and the rooms were spacious. I found parking and breakfast both expensive. The pillows were flat and terrible. The bed wasn't the most comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food at breakfast was good. Overall would stay here again but bring my own pillow!

Die Unterkunft selbst war sauber und in Ordnung. Das Umfeld für die Nachbarschaft eines Bahnhofs auch vollkommenem in Ordnung. Der Aufenthalt war unerträglich, da das Fenster im Zimmer fast wie in einer Zwangsanstalt zugeschraubt war. Ja das war es wirklich, der Fensterhebel war grob weggerissen worden und es wurden Schrauben durch den Fensterrahmen gedreht. Eine Belüftung gab es im eigentlichen Sinne nicht, es wurde nur sehr warme, sauerstoffarme Heizungsluft durchgehend in das Zimmer geblasen. Auf Nachfrage konnte man uns kein anderes Zimmer anbieten, da man nicht wisse, wie wie es sich mit den Fenstern auf den jeweiligen Etagen verhält, man gab uns stattdessen einen Ventilator, der aber auch nur die schlechte Luft im Zimmer umwälzte anstatt sie zu verbessern. Ich habe wirklich schon einiges in Hotels erlebt, und bin in auch bei kleinen Mängeln bei der Sauberkeit oder etwas Lärm in der Nacht nicht kleinlich. Dieses Hotel verließ ich aber mit starken Kopfschmerzen und Kreislaufproblemen, soetwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Keine Empfehlung!

Gutes Stadthotel am HBF, guter Mercure Standard. Sauber und trotz Lage ruhig. Parken besser im öffentlichen Parkhaus nebenan. Bequeme Boxspringbetten, allerdings sehr hoch. Statt Wasserkocher für Tee und Instantkaffe gibts nun eine Kapselmaschine. Das finde ich gar nicht gut.
