"A friendly and efficient welcome. I arrived quite early in the day but there was no problem with leaving my bags while I went off to get something to eat. The hotel is spotlessly clean and my room was a comfortable size with a good bed. I liked being able to open the window and dispense with air conditioning. Location is not bad, a brisk walk from Ulus Metro station and there is 24 hour taxi rank with a couple hundred metres. Overall, excellent value for money."

"Check-in was quick and easy. Friendly and polite staff. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Smell of smoking was present in hallways and in the room after a couple of hours (the first few hours the smell was of air deodorizer and cleaning products which was pleasant). "This is a lovely authentic propert right in the heart of the old Citidel. Driving there was “interesting” on a busy Saturday and very tight trough the city portals. Parking was okay it was just in the very tight street by the property and we left the hire car keys at reception in case the needed moving. "The toilet in our room did not work, we checked in around 2200 and they did not have another room to move us too, so we had to use the toilet in reception. I would have expected a hotel with this number of rooms to have a call out procedure 24 hours a day for facilitiy failures that impact the guest experience, so it was disapointing that the staff on duty did not have any contingney arrangments that allowed them to call a plumber. Otherwise a good location, and a comfortable hotel."
