"For the price room was very clean and comfortable. However, there was no elevator, and although, being elderly couple of 83 yrs, we had no trouble walking flight of stairs, it would have been appropriate to let us know before booking! Decor was dated and not especially attractive, but for price and one night, overall it was a fine experience."

"My 6 sisters and I brought our mother to celebrate a landmark birthday for her--the home was so clean! Mom loved the view of the river on all three levels of the house. The beds were so comfortable. We loved the cute artwork in the bathrooms especially. Our only problem was the gnats--they were in the upstairs bathroom every night, and there were wasps on the main deck. One of our party is very scared of wasps, so that was a turn off for her. But our stay was lovely--we were so impressed...

"The house looks small outside but it is mighty inside. Four bedrooms and three baths on three floors. Ample gathering space for our family in the open living/dining/ kitchen areas. The house is in excellent condition and extremely clean. It is full of charm from the "old Atchison" mail cabinet to the charming 33/45 record player with albums to the over the top coffee bar complete with flavors to add to the coffee. It was a very nice experience. It could use better pictures on line."
