I didn’t like the fact that housekeeping never came around, supposedly they come every other day. I stayed here a week ago for 5 nights - housekeeping came once. And this week I stayed 3 nights and they didn’t come at all. Soaps and lotion was empty, tissue was empty and also toilet paper. Always had to ask for stuff at front desk. Never got fresh towels. Another thing which really makes me mad is that I forgot my umbrella in the room the first week, I called after checking um out to make sure that no one takes it because I planned to come back and get it since I was checking in again for three nights. No one has seen my umbrella or was it put away. This umbrella wasn’t just a random one if was from Mercedes. I didn’t think it’s nice that stuff disappears even when a guest calls. Things shouldn’t be taken.

All in all, a very good option for the price. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were really wonderful here! The pool was closed for the majority of our stay, and the staff did their very best to make up for it. Andrew at front desk was extremely kind and accommodating and we really appreciated the efforts he went to to make up for the pool situation. Over all, this hotel is clean and comfy and a great option for families with kids. The breakfast was nothing special but it did the trick and had the kid's favorite cereal. Coffee was actually really really good and always fresh. Location is also pretty central.

We had no hot water, not even to wash our hands the entire first day/night and next morning and afternoon. It was about 10 degrees outside, so this was a very big deal. The rooms had urine stains on the carpets, and there was moulding missing on some of the walls. We eventually moved rooms and it was the same in the next room except we had hot water. The couches also had stains all over them. We would never stay here again. The only positive was the staff, they were so kind and really did try to help. The maintenance man was the one that eventually got us into a room with hot water, he tried 3 different rooms for us, and really went out of his way to help.

Positive experience overall but there are several areas showing how run down the hotel is. Chipped paint in the room, worn sofa cushions and area that looked very unclean due to repetitive cleanings and the age of the rooms.

We had a kitchen in our room but I did wish that it came with more utensils like a strainer, scissors, or more silverware as we were a bigger family. The shower was amazing!

Overall okay stay. The day before my check in their hot water tank was not working, I was not notified at check in and had to shower in freezing cold water. It would have been nice to know ahead of time and possibly moved to the side with the working tank.

Wasn’t totally satisfied. Asked for housekeeping the day ahead but the room was never serviced. There were multiple details in the room that gave it the appearance that quality doesn’t really matter. Examples included loose or missing drawer pulls, large rip in the couch upholstery, poorly functioning toilet and shower fixtures. Would probably not stay again.

The rooms at Homewood Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Great Valley are in need of an update. The living and kitchen areas are pretty run down, but the beds and bathrooms are nice. The staff are amazing and very accommodating.

Good stay
Easy check-in, beds were comfortable. Nice to have a small living room area & kitchen. Outdoor courtyard was great gathering area and was able to use the grills for a team cookout. Carpets could be replaced or cleaned and the bathroom sink was clogged.
