"Easy check in. Very helpful reception staff. Room was clean and well maintained. The only downer was the restaurant, where the service was a bit on the slow side. We intended to have a sweet, but after waiting for the dessert menu for 20 minutes, we called it a day and asked for the bill instead. Food we had was good though."

"Lovely well kept hotel. Rooms are getting tired however the downstairs and communal areas are beautifully well kept. The cleaners do a fantastic job. The restaurant food was good although the chips were undercooked each time we had them. The breakfast was beautiful all three mornings - not one complaint! "We had such a beautiful break in this hotel!! It is so unique with so much character & charm. Breakfast in 1180 room was beautiful and Dinner in The Drawing room felt very special.
