"This is an excellent hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very nicely located between the Baixa and Alfama neighborhoods and is very close to some excellent restaurants. We had a great time here."

"Our stay at Exe Saldanha was great. We got off our cruise boat at 0800 and we had booked for Nov 22 night and they accommodated us that morning! Which was great because we were not feeling great after a night of turbulent waters. The front desk was kind and so helpful with all of our requests. The only things keeping this place from 5 stars are no USB ports in the room & the shower was clean but not sparkling clean. However, the front desk did provide us with a travel adapter which was amazing....

"I should have booked directly with the property, as I paid twice as much as necessary. This is not the fault of the property. It was great for a quiet stay the night before a long flight. Front desk staff was gracious, and fluent in English. Parking garage was adequate and uncrowded. Room was spacious. Bed was very comfortable with good linens. Just minutes from the airport, and there is a gas station right on the way if you are returning a rental car. This is a perfectly decent place to stay."

"Great place to stay, I would have given five stars for all categories, however, the one complaint my wife and I had was the heat was on in the room in November. I do realize Europe cools down in November and the people that live there find the outside temperatures cool. For those of us that are more acclimatized to lower temperatures the excessive heat in the rooms was stifling. Even with the windows open the room was still too warm. Even after complaining twice, we were told the whole building...

"We stayed for 5 nights every staff member went above and beyond during our stay. They suprised my wife on her birthday with cake and a bottle of wine which was really thoughtfull. We stayed half board both the breakfast and evening meal offerings were great with a wide selection of food. The staff were very attentive every day. Hotel rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. Very close to metro stations which made travel around lisbon. Would happily stay again. "
