Parking is 10€ per night, so we park outside for free. Had to check in through the cafeteria upon arrival. "The inner courtyard is lovely. We had popped in for a drink when previously in Zafra so this time decided to stay. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was clean. The breakfast was very good and we stayed for dinner, mostly due to the lovely surroundings. The service was very good and the food was fine though not outstanding. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint relates to the water. We were on the third floor and we had to waste a considerable amount of water...

"Attractive older property located right on the old town square. Room and bathroom both decent sized, clean and tastefully decorated. Bathroom fittings a little dated but top quality including a nice steel bath 👍. Nice bar and restaurant. The only downside was my 1st floor suffered noise from the kitchen / laundry room especially 9 to 10pm. I would definitely return. "

"The staff were very hospitable which was more similar to the customer service in the U.S. than in other parts of Spain. There were also friendly dogs that were sweet and it's in a very peaceful location. We tried a red wine from their vineyard and I had no complaints."

"The Hotel Plaza Grande desk clerk was very hospitable and went beyond his duty to make sure we were well taken care of. We needed a taxi to travel to Badajoz which he willfully provided. The taxi service was above standard. Further, the desk clerk was very professional in providing everything we required. Have rarely had the pleasure of this kind of service at a hotel and I have traveled world wide. I'm sure this is the best hotel and service you will find in Zafra. "
