"This was our second trip to Sweet Retreat. We had to cancel last year because of my son's cancer. We would like to just move in and stay permanently. It is homey and allows for all of us to find our own space. It has every thing you need to prepare food of your choice. You enjoy cooking and having family close. Ferndale is always special and you find family there even when you don't have any. Town closes fairly early, but coming home to this beautiful and comfy home makes...

"For an old Victorian, it was wonderful. Big gap under the door for the adjoining room and there was a snorer that occupied the room. I tried to shove a Towel under the door to close the gap but like most Victorians the walls and doors were thin.. Still loved the property and would recommend it when in Ferndale."
