"We fell in love with the cottage and the surroundings straight away. Lots of lovely walks without getting in the car at all for the whole stay. So peaceful and quiet, just the streams and the sheep , "

Cosy Welsh Cottage near to Ffestiniog Railway, local beaches, walks & activities

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"Wonderful location. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed apart from a tin opener. Some of the baking trays were well worn. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was an issue and on arrival in the village a very rude woman told us there was only parking for their guests and nowhere for anyone else. "

Finest Retreats | Cysgod y Graig

6.0 out of 10, (1)
"The one big unpleasant surprise was that there is no WiFi in the apartment. This made it very difficult for us to plan activities, chart out day trips, search for restaurants in the area, etc. But the owner provided both milk in the fridge and a loaf of tasty breakfast bread, which were welcome amenities. The beds were not very comfortable. The small electric fan was vital since it was very hot despite it being early September."

"A comfy, cozy cottage in a charming town. If we were ever to have the opportunity to return to Wales this is where we would want to stay. The owner answered every question quickly and concisely. Everything worked well. The town is within easy walking distance and the co-op grocery is well stocked and reasonably priced. A lovely place to stay with accessibility to many areas in north Wales a short, exciting and beautiful drive away."
