"What a wonderful experience. Starts with a beautiful open boat ride with your host Bill and Paula from the big island to your homestay. The water is crystal clear. Keep your eyes open for fish and other marine life. Your first view of your cabin is right when the boat comes in to drop you off. Be prepared that you might get a little wet as you wade in from the boat. The cabin is very rustic but spacious and clean. There is all the bedding you need and mosquito nets over most the beds. "Beautiful location. As mentioned in an earlier review it would be nice to have an eating table inside. Swimming and snorkeling while world class are challenging at anything but high tide, as there are no really convenient entry points. Hosts were great, no issues, as was the can driver. May need to rework the sloping bathroom shower floor as it leaks into the bathroom. Mosquitoes are tiny and come out after rain so be forewarned. Enjoy "

"We loved the overall experience of staying at De Vos. The highlight was absolutely the De Vos Team looking after us. Nothing was too much, they were so friendly, cheerful and warm. I miss them already. "My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house is set up well and the view from the balcony is lovely. Paula and Sarah cooked us amazing meals! The snorkelling with sharks was also amazing. Only thing we would say is that we felt we never saw Paula and bill and wish we could have seen them more! Perhaps this was also because of our short stay"
