"I couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay at this hotel! The staff are incredibly friendly, always greeting you with warmth and kindness. We absolutely loved experiencing the Fijian culture—there’s such a genuine love for life here, and the locals truly share that joy with every guest. The breakfast buffet was a highlight! It had an impressive variety of options that catered to different cultures and tastes. We stayed for 8 days, and I never got tired of the food because there was always something new to try each day. The other four restaurants were also fantastic, each offering a unique dining experience. As for the hotel’s facilities, everything was top-notch, from the gym to the kids’ club and the spa. One of the best parts was the variety of activities offered every day for both kids and adults—many of them were free of charge. It really added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. I can’t wait to return!"

"I would say 4.5 stars. This resort is very nice, and in particular is a great place for families with children. We had a room with partial ocean view, also overlooking the pool and grounds. The grounds of this hotel are extremely nice and in particular, far nicer than those of its immediate neighbors (a Wyndham and a Sheraton). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and there were a lot of activities to take advantage of, if you wanted to. Our only caveat was that, compared to other, comparable resorts where we have stayed (in, for example, North America and Europe), the food was average at best. (We don't know how it compares to other properties in Fiji.)"

"Absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service - from arrival, to depature! The presentation of the property was second to none - I was completely in awe and could not stop smiling! We were upgraded to a bungalow which was soo beautifully presented, clean, with that extra care taken to make this the most enjoyable place I have ever stayed. Our houseekeeper Vere, was AMAZING - she went above and beyond for us and gave us a personal touch almost every night we were there. I can not thank her enough! Salome at the front office (duty manager) was also OUTSTANDING! Her patience and kindness with me as we arrived and tried to get our head around everything was soo beautiful to receive. She knew my name and used it everytime she said hello, which again gave us that personal touch of being there. There was another lady on the front but i cant remember her name - you were soo beautiful tous, thank you!! The restaurants were amazing - the staff....oh, words cannot describe how friendly and kind they were. The food....oh my life!!! Shanaka, the hotel manager, finished our holiday off with a personal note and cookies and wished us a safe flight home....we felt like royatly. We will most DEFINITELY be staying there again. 10/10 for EVERYTHING!! Vinaka DoubleTree Resort Fiji - you have won us over tenfold and we will never forget it ❤️"

"2nd visit here and will be back again the staff are lovely and the Spa was just what we needed. Amazing snorkelling right off the beach. Tour desked helped organise a great zip lining experience. "

"Great spot between the islands or to enjoy the west side of the island ,great food,great live music ,all resorts are conected at the beach making a great place to chooce what you whant ,close to a big market beer, wine food,great prices ,close to the airport taxi 5 US and the best is the staff and the people,akways helpful,nice ,safe,make you part of a big island family .not required tip but they really deserve the best! BULA!!"
