"Lynne and Buddy were amazing hosts! Everything was wonderful and they were so so helpful and accomdating. From the pictures, to the cooler and ice, even their generator lol. They even took us out on their pontoon boat! The view was amazing where we stayed. I booked it just for that reason, the mtns and the sunset. Def recommend! You guys rock! this place!"

"Cool cabin, peaceful and quiet. Very basic items were provided. Bring your own kitchen and bath items, like baking dish, spices, cooking oil, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Washer and dryer in the bathroom was convenient. You have to hand wash dishes since no dishwasher. Trout in the pond are used to being fed with fish food rather than hunting for natural food. Lol. Saw couple turkeys and couple deer around the pond. Lots of birds and squirrels."

"Cozy, neat and perfect location for recent AT section hike. Great for slack packing days around McAfee Knob and Dragon’s Tooth trail attractions. Playground in town was perfect for the grandkids play time. Close enough to enjoy the amenities of Daleville, Troutville and Roanoke. Only detractions were the lack of immediate food options in Catawba and the obstructive view of the oncoming traffic from the driveway. "

"The house was just as described with the deck overlooking a beautiful valley. We enjoyed exploring Peeks of Otter and the area. My girls loved the woods, creek, field and just being outside. Would recommend if you want to get away from it all. Bonnie was very responsive and their grass fed beef was delicious . "

"First, the host Alex, is incredible! Stayed in contact before, right after we checked in to be sure all was good and right after we checked out. GOLD star Alex!! The property was incredible! Nice surprise was the soft water system. Fire pit was very nice as well. Kitchen well appointed and clean. Memory foam mattresses and extremely comfortable. Property secluded and private. "The property does have a slight slant on the first floor which can be fun after a few adult beverages. The house was clean and provided all the things i needed. The host communicated the door number the morning off as promised. The only complaint i would have is the pool table is too big for that room and the dart board is missing the darts. I would rent this house again next time I'm in Roanoke. "
