"We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. "This was a really lovely house to stay for a week in Little Haven. It was very quiet, just a five minute walk into Little Haven which is a very sweet village. The house was easy to use, well equipped(butt need to bring bath and hand towels) and the heating was perfectly set so we didn’t not have to change the settings at all(mid to late October). The stairs were not a problem for any of us who were all in late 70s."

"Booked this stay as we wanted to revisit the area for our anniversary with our dogs, cottage was lovely, clean and warm. It had all the items needed ie: kitchen had everything, utility room ideal for washing and drying, did not have much use of the garden as storm Burt landed, visited the Sloop, the Ship Inn, st Davids and dogs managed to have a run on the beach at White Sands. The coments i would like to mention, steps coming down from car park area can be very slippery when wet, and also...

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. "I was misled by the search criteria - putting in dates i needed. Then booked in for different days. Yes, i should have checked. But i know my search criteria had correct dates and didnt know it would have offered outside criteria. Luckily one property was vacant and i was given that. I was grateful. BUT i have to say the cost was at least double to what would have been a fair Off grid is one thing, but for that expense i was expecting a shared fridge and some solar lighting/electricity!! Rip...

"Lovely pub! Stayed for a night while in the area and couldn't fault it. Food was really nice and plenty of it and good value. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was pleasant enough and quiet and clean. Pub was big with a pool table and darts and is dog friendly. Plenty of parking and even the added bonus of EV charging in the car park if you need it. Happily stay here again if we're ever back in the area!"

"Took the ferry from Fishguard and wanted a pleasant place to stay the night before. This was a great pick! The only disappointing thing was my massage, otherwise it was all great. Great Hotel

"Great hotel with a great location. Great facilities including gym, bar and restaurant. The bar and restaurant overlook the marina, which itself has great bars and restaurants. Room has a king size bed overlooking the marina. The only complaint being the fan in the bathroom was not working. Highly recommend."

"Excellent service and communication, we took our two border terriers and they were made to feel most welcome. Our room was dog friendly and was lovely, I imagine the non doggy rooms to be amazing. Electric car charging onsite, Awesome food in Lokkie restaurant next door would highly recommend. "

"I can honestly say we have never experienced a warmer welcome anywhere we have stayed, and we travel a lot. The staff were so helpful and seemed genuinely interested in their guests.
