Escape the hustle and bustle to this beautiful log cabin just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lovely setting with pretty views from covered front porch. Chances are you will see plenty of wildlife such as deer and wild turkey. Enjoy the privacy and seclusion yet just a few minutes drive to Boone or West Jefferson.

Open great room with fully-equipped kitchen, gas stone fireplace, recliner sofa... master bedroom with private bath on main level. Upstairs loft area perfect for kids with one twin bed and one queen size bed and separate bathroom with shower.

If you prefer hiking, there are several nice walks and hikes within the area and numerous trails off the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. Mountain Aire Golf Course and Jefferson Landing are just a few miles away. Tweetsie Railroad is a short drive for the kids and shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall is close by for Mom.

The cabin is conveniently located within a short drive of Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, and several major ski resort areas.

Peaceful Paradise
Quiet, country setting with beautiful mountain views. Gas log fireplace, rain on a tin roof, comfy bed, and a porch swing with morning coffee. GPS took us directly to the address. If you've never been then I would recommend coming during the daylight hours to navigate the well kept, one lane road. Close to West Jefferson, Boone and Blowing Rock. Always great response from host. Enjoyed our stay tremedously!

My dad and I stayed here for a couple of nights and had a great time. The cabin is unique and rustic (how I think a mountain cabin should be), but also clean and well-stocked and well-maintained. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It’s so quiet and we especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Easy drive into Boone and close to plenty of hiking trails. I’d recommend trying to arrive before the sun sets on your first night.

Cabin needs work
Mold and leaking loft shower stall. Lighting inside is very poor . Cannot see to use the range. Couch is broken won’t retract when reclined. Outside lights (solar)poor visibility managing entrance steps at night. Great neighbors. Good location. We are repeat guests. Will look elsewhere for our fall trip . Sorry to be so negative but I cannot sugar coat our visit

Great cabin at a great price
This is our second time staying in this wonderful cabin. It’s cute and cozy and the view from the front porch is absolutely amazing. I love the addition of the fire table, it snowed while we were there and the fire kept me nice and warm while I watched the snow fall. Downtown West Jefferson is just a short drive away and there’s an awesome hike to a waterfall right around the corner. We’re already planning our stay for next year.

Quiet Getaway
Nice, clean, rustic cabin with all you need for a relaxing mountain stay. The fireplace was warm and inviting. Wonderful view and quiet neighborhood. Shopping and attractions are short trips away. We would definitely stay here again.

This was planned to be a short trip for three friends over the weekend in a comfortable quiet cabin, and that’s exactly what it was; this place has all necessary amenities while still being secluded and close enough to Boone to make it an easy trip, we would absolutely recommend and again.

Weekend stay
Great stay, we received a little over an inch of snow, was beautiful. Luckily we had a 4runner that got us back and forth to the cabin. The roads aren’t that steep but would recommend 4wd if snowing.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was available that we needed. We cooked and relaxed at the cabin. We stayed inside because it was too cold outside, and it was very cozy. Communication with the owner was easy, and even though we didnt need them, I feel they were readly available if needed.

Rustic , clean and so quiet
Great little cabin in a very quiet area . It’s so quiet at night you can hear a pin drop . The owners are very nice people and responsive to any inquiries regarding their cabin . Boone , bowling rock are close by and offer so many great places to visit . Best breweries hands down that we’ve been too ! Will definitely be back to stay at this cabin again !

Fantastic get away
1st time for us to stay in a cabin. It will not be out last! The cabin was perfect, kitchen was well stocked with pots, Utensils, plates etc. The fireplace was great. We enjoyed both fire pits plus a gas one next to the swing. The pirch is facing a beautiful mountain. The pirch has to lock gates plus a tie out for your fur babies. Boone was a 15 minute drive and Blue Ridge pk way was a few minutes away.
