The rooms themselves were nice. Hotel staff was absent when I arrived. The lobby was filled with a person who was asleep at the bar, a young man with his shorts pulled fairly low on his waist, a woman who looked like she was down on her luck and another woman who made me question if she was for hire. There was a sign on the front door stating no public bathrooms. Once the hotel staff arrived, she was pleasant and professional. The area was noisy overnight with loud trains, people talking loudly in the halls and it is next to a hospital. Overall, a very sketchy area and I would not stay here again. I will note that the next day, the lobby seemed to be filled with fairly normal people, but I was completely nervous leaving my car there based on what I saw the night before.

It was a nicer hotel for its price range! Pretty clean compared to some other hotels we’ve stayed at. Located directly next to a train station which we didn’t realize so that was quite noisy but we surprisingly slept fine. Hot breakfast including eggs, bacon, waffles, breads bagels muffins yogurt cereals etc was served 6a-9a and checkout was at noon which was the best part about all of it!

The manager was an absolute sweetheart. A kind young man, with wonderful manners, very eager to be of assistance and incredibly interesting to exchange with. His Starbucks lattes were sublime. Only downfall of our stay, the lady serving breakfast was a little rude and the bacon was put out in very small quantities at very long intervals, with little to no refills for other breakfast items either… she appeared annoyed at every request and kept reminding people that breakfast would be over in half an hour anyways. That said, the manager’s outstanding service at the end, as well as the mint condition of the rooms and excellent comfort and cleanliness made this a very worthwhile stay!
