"The property is beautiful, nicely renovated and clean. A true gem is a covered patio with grill and a small beach right outside the door. There is plenty of local attractions to choose from near by. "Staying at Amoray Dive Resort was a pleasurable experience. Making a reservation online was easy. They even responded quickly to my request for a ground level floor since they don’t have elevators and my husband and I have trouble with stairs. They replied within 30 minutes after I made the reservation. The room was very nice and clean. I don’t know if it was recently remodeled, but it looked like it was. We were only there for 3 nights and I was sad that I hadn’t been able to check out the pool. So I went to the office to request a 1pm late checkout ($20 fee) and they said it was no problem. When I got to the pool, there was a scuba class (only 2 students) in session in the pool. It was interesting to watch. The ocean view from the pool area was spectacular! The pool area was nice and clean and beach towels are provided.
If you’re going to the Keys during the off season, I highly recommend the reasonably priced Amoray Dive Resort.

"Me and my fiancé came a few times to tiki bar, but never stayed in the hotel. This time we decided to book a room and I loved everything about Gilbert’s! Check in was easy and took only a couple of minutes. We got room 112 and it was very clean, smell good, ac worked perfectly! Even bed and pillows were pretty comfy. View was really nice too. What also surprised me it was very quiet at night, we slept like babies :) Oh, and we saw a pack of dolphins passing by so close to the dock - it was fantastic! We are going back next month!"

"The online photos are accurate. The location is excellent- great pool and condo complex. What sets this place apart - We’ve stayed at many rentals for 20 years and I’ve never stayed in one as well equipped and functional as this one. It actually had anything and everything that you needed. And everything worked perfectly. This was not a “rental unit” filled with rental grade items to turn a profit. I felt like I was staying in my best friends home. Amazing start to finish. Communication with the owner directly went above and beyond. Truly a perfect experience! "
