"This is one of the better hotels that I have stayed at. Convenient for the Channel Tunnel as it's only a 10 minute drive, the hotel itself is in a decent condition despite its age. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Decent amenities onsite as well including a coffee shop and restaurant. But where this hotel excels is in terms of its staff. From the friendly and helpful man on reception, continuing on to the happy to help staff in the restaurant to the fantastic customer service of the guy running the breakfast in the morning, it all added to the stay. The cherry on top however was the actions of the hotel when we managed to forgot our little ones teddy and head off to France. A quick call to them confirmed that they had the bear and would get him back to us. On arriving home from our trip, the bear had been delivered along with 2 small bags of haribo in the box. One happy boy and a hotel that exceeded all expectations. Would highly recommend!! "

"We only stayed the 1 night before we had to get up early to get the LeShuttle in the morning. The check in was busy but quick, the staff friendly, the room was clean and exactly what we needed. "

"We booked this hotel based upon the reviews as we were visiting a friend in the area and needed somewhere to stay. The hotel is in a great location very close to the top of raised promenade. There isn’t a lot of onsite parking, however there is free onsite parking close by which we used. Upon check in we were greeted by Mark who was so friendly, knowledgable, and instantly made us feel like we had made a good choice with his excellent customer service. This is a pet friendly hotel, which is the main reason why we chose to stay here as we had an our doggo with us. There is is £20 per night surcharge which seems weird because presumably this is for the enhanced cleaning, so the number of nights is irrelevant- just charge for the stay otherwise it becomes bad value for pet owners and drives them towards better value options, such as AirBnB, which we don’t want. Our room was a large disabled access room on the ground floor, which meant it had a huge bathroom, which sadly didn’t have a bath despite the enormous amount of space, and definitely could have still been classed as accessible. We were at the side of the hotel so the view was into next door but that didn’t really bother us. The decor was pleasant and the bed comfortable. The bed did have a spring base which squeaked sometimes when you moved, so this could do with some WD40! Overall, the hotel is well located, with comfortable rooms and delightful staff who really seem to care about your stay."

"Very happy with our stay, we traveled on the ferry late and arrived in Dover just before midnight, the hotel was very easy to find and only a very short drive for the ferry port, hotel was undergoing renovations and this was clearly sign posted in spite of this it was lovely inside and the to staff member on reception were extremely helpful and very accommodating, really great service. The room was fantastic!! 5 beds (which is so hard to get in lower budget hotels and we always struggle) very spacious room with comfort beds and great hot drink selection and even a fridge!. Bathroom was amazing very modern and clean with some great features and plenty of toiletries. Overall we are extremely happy with our stay highly recommended and will definitely be booking here again "
