"Carl's house was great for our family trip. We had everything we needed, Carl is a great host, he was there to welcome us & showed us around. The location was ideal, with plenty of shops & restaurants. "

"Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! "

"Very large property, lots of space in kitchen/diner and two living rooms, plus utility room. Family party of seven seniors, felt very at home here. Kitchen had just about everything, you just had to find where things were. Four bedrooms, three doubles and one twin bedded. Onsuite bathroom with the master bedroom. We had to call our hosts with a power issue on our first night and they couldn't have been more helpful. We weren't there on holiday so didn't get chance to explore the town or area properly but hope to do so on future visits."

"Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces free. Really clean and comfortable room. The Nespresso coffee maker came with instructions and there was a good choice of herbal teas. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was powerful and provided a stable temperature. There was a good selection of toiletries. The evening meal of pork shoulder and vegetables was top quality as was breakfast the following morning. I had a full English but also loved the wide variety of nuts, seeds and dried fruits available."
