An amazing experience in a charming town. We loved The Bell Inn and all its rich and fascinating history. The rooms were great and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food at the Inn restaurant was great and if you like blue cheese this is the place to try their famous Stilton Blue Cheese.We had our Saint Bernard with us and everyone catered to our dog as if she was there own. Lovely experience and we would definitely return soon.

Warm,cosy and friendly. Food is exceptional Rooms are warm and cosy. Staff are second to none just had a refurbishment very nice. Unsure about check-in location as its in the open restaurant and i felt i was checking in in a Costa coffee but overall it was excellent.

Lovely room, super helpful staff, easy parking, great home-made food in the restaurant for dinner. Not so good - Bathroom with zero character (so different to the bedroom), breakfast was bland and average at best. Nothing of any interest within walking distance. Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces free. Really clean and comfortable room. The Nespresso coffee maker came with instructions and there was a good choice of herbal teas. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was powerful and provided a stable temperature. There was a good selection of toiletries. The evening meal of pork shoulder and vegetables was top quality as was breakfast the following morning. I had a full English but also loved the wide variety of nuts, seeds and dried fruits available.
