"We had a lovely time, at this wonderfully spacious villa and well-maintained grounds. Whilst we did take the opportunity to visit Rome, Herculaneum and some local beaches and towns, we spent most of our time enjoying the villa and the privacy of the peaceful grounds. The pool was well used and it was delightful to see so many bees and butterflies attracted by the beautiful flowers. "Our stay was excellent. Our host was fantastic. She even picked us up at the train station and allowed a late checkout and then drove us to the train station on depsrture. Only issues were we did not expect a cleaning fee and the WIFI did not work the last full day of our stay. Ammenities said access to a boat and bikes. I guess you could rent them in town. This could have been clearer in the ammenties."
