"Although the hotel is a bit tired it served our needs at a good price. Location is good, not quite close enough to town for walking. Limited menu and stops serving at 8pm. Food was reasonable cost and quality. "

"Nice stay. Friendly and knowledgeable couple who gave great advice about dining and hiking in the area. Good breakfast. Property was very clean."

"The check in is SO confusing. We checked in at the castle up the road. They stated we were in the cottage so we went to the cottage which did not have our room number. We went back to the castle and they finally told us to go to the pub and the room was above it. Great room, 2 bathrooms!"

"The hallways up to the bedrooms look quite tired but I got a pleasant surprise when I entered my bedroom and found it to be large, clean and nice looking. I had a really comfortable sleep the 2 nights I was there without any noise disturbance (I find it hard to sleep if there's much noise). Breakfast was good. "

"Perfect for what i wanted, clean, warm, comfortable, and bonus- a bath! Not a complaint, just to help others, only 2 sockets in room, with kettle and tv already plugged in, so had to keep turning something off to use the socket. I was s solo traveller but with 2 people in room using many gadgets, could be tricky(take a double plug or small excrement lead)"
