Loved staying here. This was our first guest house experience, and it did not disappoint. The room and en-suite were both spacious, with attention to detail. The breakfast was first class service, with personal interaction with the Chef. Would highly recommend to stay here.
The property has very scenic views and the stay was very comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable.
Cozy guest house on the water. Our room had fabulous views. Our hosts were wonderful, the room very well appointed. The bed was perfectly comfy. The breakfast was outstanding.
Great accommodation. There was a flashing light coming from somewhere, which happened at least 5 times over the night which was a hindrance. Not sure where they came from. The room is spacious and the hosts were amazing.
Wish we could award this B&B more than 5 stars... Mark was an exceptional host who made us feel right at home. He suggested a great place for hiking in both Fort William and in Glencoe. Our room was spotless and lovely. Mark prepared a fabulous breakfast (in a room with quite a view) both days which included an amazing cappuccino. We just loved this B&B.
If you could find a near perfect guest house, the Torlinnhe Guest House would be it.
We were greeted by the owner Mark upon our arrival and he was so helpful in helping us to our room, answering questions and making us feel welcome. The room was very comfortable and quiet and offered some of the best amenities only seen in some of the best hotels.
The breakfast (also prepared by Mark) was probably one of the highlights of all our meals throughout our travels in Scotland. The view from the breakfast room is stunning and the food serves was so delicious and made to order right after you sat down. A typical Scottish breakfast, it was really cooked well. In addition, the small pastries, juices and cereals offered were plentiful.
The only drawback on the property is that it is a bit of a walk into the city center on a very busy road. We elected to drive into town instead.
We would recommend this guest house to anyone visitors in Fort William.
Liked everything about this property. Breakfasts were wonderful and owners very friendly.
Only negative thing, is that the walk to town is on a very busy road.
So glad we managed to stay here. The view of the loch from our triple room was superb. As per previous reviews, the little touches in the room were lovely. Very good toiletries in bathroom. The shower was very powerful. Breakfast options were varied and it is the best breakfasts we’ve had on our trip to highlands (chia pudding must be tried). We had dinner one night and the food was again delicious. Mark (host) was very knowledgeable about the highlands. He mentioned that they release a few tickets for the Jacobite on the day. We queued for about an hour on the platform and we were ecstatic to get tickets (having failed to get any online for several weeks) - it was the highlight of our holiday for my 13 year old - Thanks Mark. He also recommended many other places and Loch Lochy is probably the most beautiful site I’ve seen on this trip.
