"The hotel looks like a tiny hamlet of old farm buildings which have recently been renovated. A definite rustic feel to it. Parking is 100 m in front of the hamlet. Hotels.com failed to list this hotel as having a restaurant. As such I ate junk food on the way to the hotel, only to find the perfect restaurant for me. I made space for a delicious salmon salad and wonderful glass of Riesling! The room was good and I slept very well. The only missing utility which I always need as a business...

"Amazing hotel. Renovated modern within the old building. Sitting on the castle grounds but hot within the castle walls. Easy access to the city center and the castle itself, which is amazing. For those who want to explore the surroundings, Weilburg and its castle is close by, the Kubacher Tropfsteinhoehle is a great attraction during the summer and all is close from this hotel. "If you are going to Butzbach - look no further than the Hof - especially if arriving by train - 2 minute walk from the train station- 4 minute walk into the historic area of town."

"Everything was wonderful. The only small difficulty was check-in was a box on the wall that you input a code and your room key pops out. I didn't know to look for this and stood around in the entrance for 30 minutes like a dummy. lol"

And relax !

"What can I say , the owners went above and beyond, as were the rest of the staff very welcoming and really made me feel as if I was home . Both dinner and breakfast were excellent . My room was superb , it was quiet and comfortable. I was worried about the proximity to the motorway , My room was on the back of the hotel, but even on the front side you could not hear the road with the windows shut, and it was just background noise with them open, and the views from the front side are amazing. But it was the atmosphere, friendliness and attention to detail that made it for me . I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will definitely be back "
