"We use the hotel frequently and feel at home there. Especially like the atmosphere in the bar and invariably find ourselves chatting with other guests. Great location for the business district but only ten minutes from the Royal Albert Dock or the excellent city centre shops. Literally dozens of good restaurants within 15 minutes walk and its own MPW restaurant is also very good. Highly recommended "

Restaurant recommendations and tips on bus routes to Goodison Park were sought and delivered as well as organising an early taxi to the airport. "Too many people slate this hotel We had a lovely warm Room bed was clean and bathroom was clean and hot working water and shower staff where amazing and the history of this place speaks for itself too many pick holes in this place and forget how old this building is I will Allways come back time and time again ! "The staff on reception were exceptionally kind and friendly. They deserve to be recognised for thier friendliness and helpfulness. It was a lady and a gentleman. Cant recall their names but they were so chatty and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Walls are a bit thin. Could literally hear all next doors conversations. Bed was comfy. View was amazing. Would defo stay here again."

"Fab hotel, huge rooms, great staff and reasonably priced. 35 min walk to the city centre or an 8 min Uber. Surrounding area is undergoing a bit of refurbishment so currently not great but I wouldn’t let that put you off. Easy to get to and parking is great and reasonable too. "
