There was a lot of mold in the shower and bathroom. Very small. One electric plug. Three lights, two were broken. Bed was comfortable. In a sketchy part of town but convenient to the trolley

The place was according the price... but the host Lou was just great, he always was worry about how to move in the city and gave us maps printed and tips to move around. You can also find some mini markets to buy fruits, water and whatever you need to save money... it’s better to avoid go outside after 10 pm, but in summer the sun hide at 10 pm 👍👍👍

Very GOOD value for BASIC amenities. A Jewel in a gritty part of town. This a LIVELY area with many pubs, Chinese restaurants and other colorful businesses . Close too the Frankfurt "Main" train station (20 min's and EUR 4.90 from FRA airport). The owner / daytime desk man is a very charming and informative. better than epping in the Tran Station. not as good as the Ritz Carlson. (-:

The hotel is not bad for its price, however, one of the front desk staff, a man who claims to be named Mr. Lee was very rude and unprofessional. The other front desk staff were actually ok.

Don't get bugged.
I found the room to be less than what I expected. All night there was a smell of smoke and cooking. In the morning my worst fear was realize when I found 2 bed bugs crawling on the bedding.

Great price, fine hotel, somewhat dodgy area
The staff and hotel room were fine. The breakfast was fresh and good. I recommend based on that. the location across the street from a nice Irish pub and near the train station made it very convenient from the airport and to my conference area. Be aware: This hotel borders the red light and drug junkie area. The street it is on is fine, but women who stayed in the same area did not feel safe. My room got hot and each night there were some loud people around 3am doing military marching or yelling for attention. My room faced the street. I recommend getting rooms facing the courtyard. They will probably be significantly quieter

If you don't mind staying in a non-luxurious hotel, this is the place. The rooms are small, but the price can not be beat. Private bathrooms, and comfortable beds. A bit noisy as it is located only 1 block from Frankfurt train station. Perfect for students, or explorers.

Hotel union is fine for a stay
Good location- just a block or so from the train station. The receptionist was friendly, the room was clean enough, but cold. It was bitter cold with a wind in Frankfurt that night, and the heating system couldn't keep up. They brought me another duvet. This hotel isn't for people who think about "Should my hotel decor be updated?" This hotel is for people who are ready to move beyond hostels and backpacker joints. It it for the adventure crowd who desire a private bathroom.

Worse hotel I've stayed in.
shower curtain mouldy, heater not working and had to ask for extra blankets. worse of all the bed had mites so after I finally got to sleep I woke to find that I'd been biten all over my body.

Noisy with Bed Bugs
I stayed here with my elderly mother and small daughter. The room appeared to be quite clean at first glance. But, on closer inspection there were multiple burn holes in the sheets, and on the curtains. One lamp had electrical wires hanging out of it from the wall. We could not sleep at all, as there were two parties going on in separate rooms on our (second) floor. And by midnight my mother had already been eaten alive by bed bugs. The front desk staff were courteous and kind, and took down the problems in an unflappable manner. But I don't think we could consider staying here again.

This hotel is across the street from a Japanese Casino. It was noisy all night. No air in the room and could not open window. There was mildew in the shower and shower curtain was filthy. I woke up with bites on my ankles.

Hotel Near Frankfurt Main Railway Station
We stayed here for 4 nights.The tram stop is just outside and the railway station is about 2 minutes' walk away. A few Asian cuisine restaurants and mini markets are in the neigbourhood. The staff was polite and helpful. The room cleaning service was okay but the smell of smoked cigerate was always there. It was a bit suffocating at time. At night it was noisy perhaps from a bar nearby. The room is small, the lift is small and the corridor is narrow. Tea making facilities is not available.
