Farm View Cottage Castlerea (originally a thatched cottage) is a comfortable holiday home set in a peaceful and tranquil farming area in the centre of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. It is ideally located for superb lake fishing.
The market town of Castlerea is situated in beautiful wooded countryside on the banks of the River Suck. It is 10-15 min drive away from the holiday home.

Farm View Cottage Castlerea is a spacious detached holiday home providing calming green views from many cosy rooms. The countryside kitchen, connected to a dining room provides you with all mod cons for comfortable self catering getaway with you and your family. Enjoy some chill time by the fire from the wood burning stove in the separate living room or watch a movie (Now TV available). This property is wheelchair accessible - the back door is widened with the ramp and handrail fitted, one of the bedrooms has disabled friendly shower room and WC.
Please note patio has 2 steps.
Enclosed and fenced back garden area (2 gates that can be opened) with garden furniture and BBQ is available for our guests. The main garden area is open. Supervision is needed for children at all times due to farmland location.
Private parking beside this holiday home is available.

IMPORTANT NOTES 1. Heating and Electricity:
Utilities are an extra charge at this property and payable on departure to the Owner/Property Manager. The rate for heating & electricity at this property is €10 per day all year around. Should utility charges not be paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice. Breakdown of these charges are available from the Owner/Property Manager.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
