"Love the onsen, very spacious room"

"We started in Japan for 12 days and our stay at Oyado Koto No Yume in Takayama was by far the best accommodations we’ve experienced. Modern Ryokan at its best. Location is within 10-15 minute walk from bus/train station. The place is immaculate ( all guests were required to leave their shoes upon entry to the hotel; staff puts them away for you and provide you with in house slippers). Guests were provided kimono/ yukata for our enjoyment. Breakfasts every morning is excellent! Room is huge and accommodated 3 adults with 3 check in luggage size comfortably. Separate male and female on send in the hotel provided a much needed wind down after a full day of walking. My only suggestion and this is a personal preference after experiencing other public onsens, please provide a door on the way to the changing areas for women. The only thing blocking the way/view to the female onsen is a curtain. There’s always possibility of a male walking into female changing area by accident. Other than this, everything was perfect during our stay and I highly, highly recommend this ryokan queen visiting Hisa-Takayama. "
