"Beautiful property on the Uroa Eastern Coast. This resort has so much potential as it lies in a comfortable setting with beautiful, picture es sandy beaches and warm water. You want piece and quiet, this is the place. If you want hustle and bustle prepare to drive 1 hour to the north, south or back to Stone-town on the west. "Great staff, very clean room, well presented TV didn't work - only 1 Arabic channel Location - was not aware that could not get a car up to the premises and had to walk (not an issue in itself but would have been if I was with a suitcase & 1 or 2 other bags) as it is in the heart of the old town streets"

Beautiful!!

"Tembo House was one of the most beautiful and unique hotels my wife and I have ever stayed it. It is walking distance to the heart of Stone Town and the Freddie Mercury museum, also has stunning views of the water and all the boats. Comfortable, clean, vibrant, and gorgeous! The staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. They were nice enough to hold onto our bags in a secure room while we went on safari for a few days as well. Will definitely be coming back here the next time we’re in Zanzibar!"

"A great location for a quiet get away. The spa treatments and wellness was fabulous. The dining options were always good and of high quality. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend the all-inclusive package as options are plentiful and much better than most resorts in Zanzibar. "

"The stay was definitely what I would describe as a paradise resort, great food and entertainment and the staff are very friendly.With the only slight feedback being they had a lot of power cuts through the stay and water cuts occasionally but it was fixed once reported. A slight bit of maintenance needs to be done with regards to rust but is very difficult with the type of climate in Zanzibar but overall I would recommend this as a 5 star location in Zanzibar, thank you."

"My third stay here! I love Zanzibar and love staying here. It's so convenient to everything and the staff are exceptional. Big Joe is always there to welcome us! And Johannes and Suliman also are great. Food is good, view is spectacular, rooms are big and have an "Old World" feel. I love it here!"

"This property was amazing. Stunningly beautiful and everything was thought of. Customer service was top notch. The only areas of improvement for me was that wifi was very slow in some rooms and spaces and the long nails of the spa ladies did not provide for an optimal experience. Other than that - 10/10."
