Another guest had a cold, I assume, and we listened to him blow his nose (or honk it) vigorously for hours. Same with toilet flushing, teeth brushing and shaving. We could hear it all. "Beautiful place a 15 minute drive out of the city. Stunning scenery. Two pristine salt water pools on top of the hill with a beautiful view. The room was comfortable, bed was great, and we slept with the balcony door ajar, it was so quiet. The dinner was excellent; they offered only a chef’s menu but they were gracious about making ours vegetarian. Not many other guests but enough that you didn’t feel uncomfortable. "Our family spent a night here to tour the area. We loved this hotel. the staff was courteous and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety and quantity of food. They saved a parking spot for us, which was a big plus, since parking in Piazza Armerina isn't easy!
