"Paid online. No one was there when we went to check in. Dogs growling at us viciously. We were forced to leave and find another place to stay. Still waiting to get our money back. I don't think that will happen as we have waited 4 days for a response to or email. Don't waste your money or time on this place. It states is 200 metres from centre of galle but its at least a 5000 rupee tuk tuk to get anywhere near galle city centre. Terrible experience, waste of my money."

"Hotel took the reservation but had no rooms. Wasn’t helpful in correcting. Wouldnt refund our money. Left us without a room."

"We loved our stay at Arabella. Loved the simplicity and size of the rooms. Kept very clean and tidy by the staff. Cute offering of bananas for supper in the room with the turn down service. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Pool area was on the small size but we had no problem using it when we wanted to. Kitchen and kitchen staff were A . Food and service was amazing highly recommend the chimichurri prawns & the prawn or fish tacos! All breakfast options were great also! Tuk Tuks available...

"Wow.... we were blown away when we first arrived at the Villa even though we arrived during a big storm! We stayed over Christmas and New Year with my parents and my teenage boys and we all had a wonderful time. Susantha, Yasiru, Hindy and Bandullah were all fantastic and really helped to make our holiday truly magical. The villa is beautiful and we all had plenty of space to not get on top of each other. "It's closer to Galle Fort. The staff are nice & helpful. But, all other facilities are basic and no hot water shower system and bath room is not clean. Old packets of tea / Coffee & sugar in the room. So, I couldn't make a cup of tea. "

"The hotel has character but it is very basic. Breakfast is not available. There is no restaurant. The wifi mostly did not work. There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. The room was not serviced in the three days I stayed in Galle.
