Welcome to Sunset Escapes, this Cozy Beach Cottage was built in 1910 and is nestled in the Historic District on sunny Galveston Island. The charming home has a prime location. It is about a 7 minute walk to the Seawall/Beach and about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive the Historic Strand.

GALVESTON ATTRACTIONS: Pleasure Pier (1 mile), Seawall (less than 1/2 mile), Galveston Fishing Pier (5.6 miles), Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Moody Gardens (6.2 miles), Cruise Terminal (1.3 miles)

I enjoyed a long relaxing weekend at the beach cottage. The kitchen is set up for cooking meals and the proximity to The Strand is conducive to eating at one of the many restaurants. I walked to the beach and enjoyed sitting in the private yard. I would stay again!

The sweetest property on the island. This house has everything you would need for your stay and is in such a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and had friendly neighbors. We have stayed in multiple houses on the island, and will return to this property for our next stay!

Breakfast is an easy 1 block away, so, we walked. Very light traffic and no bad actors. The full time neighbors were very nice and Lindsey should be very happy with them. Lindsey is very easy to contact and more than accommodating. The house is very clean and kitchen is appointed well.

Bed in bedroom was very uncomfortable, too soft. We’ve stayed here before but there was a door to the bathroom, now just a curtain. Highly recommended door be reinstalled.
