"Salthill Hotel sits right on the coast in Galway, a beautiful and great location. When we arrived, we were told that Hotels.com customers had to pay for parking, which was only €5, not too bad but a little annoying to be siloed because of where the booking originated. We had three issues with our room. The first is that the room was far too hot, and there was no temperature control in the room. "Second time ive stayed here for a long weekend. Staff siper friendly, rooms clean and spacious with comfy beds. Very little noise to note on both occasions i stayed. "

"Some staff took cash payments and others would only take card payment. Other than that nice hotel and comfortable beds and pillows. Fried eggs had run out by the time we got down (9ish)."

"rather a surprise, very good breakfast, shopping accros the street a few minutes to the city. Dinner at the hotel pub was poor, waitres had maybe her first day, food was very fast, actually to fast and we assume we got somebody elses order as we ordered chicken burger and not beef, but we where to tired to start a discussion. Would stay again"
