The hotel itself looks lovely and has great facilities. But the rooms are small (even the superior rooms lack space for your bags) and we kept stubbing our toe on the bed while trying to squeeze between the wall and the bed. The bed itself was two singles pushed together with a saggy foam layer on top. The bathroom was nicely decorated, but we were disappointed that the shower soap dispenser was left empty during our 2 day stay, and we were given a comically small towel on the second night. Facilities at the hotel were lovely, particularly the gym and the outdoor pool/jacuzzi. Definitely 5 stars for both of these. Overall, service at The Dean lacked warmth (which is unusual in Ireland), and didn't really align with expectations or the cost charged.

Very nice hotel in a super convenient area. Parking was a bit annoying as you have to figure it out yourself but we lucked into street parking right out front that is free overnight. The rooms are quite small but very nice and love the decor. Just make sure to bring your bathing suit! We deeply regretted not being able to use the outdoor heated pool.

Really nice hotel, the room was huge and super comfy! Really quiet and i had a great sleep my whole stay. Staff in the spa/gym were super helpful and friendly too. Really recommend this hotel for female solo travelers! I felt very safe and relaxed there.

The only things I will mention are these; The first night I stayed in a room that faced the same direction of the entrance and a very noisy street, many vehicles passing and revelers. The next day the staff were very helpful to relocate me to a quite room. The only other remark is the pillows are hard and too thick for a skinny soft pillow guy like me. Sorry one more comment, I know alot of effort has been put into details but the rooms are somewhat over priced, I will consider other options next time.

We loved our stay at the Dean! Great location, very walkable to all of the restaurants and shops. Customer service was also superb. The only downside was trying to find parking as they do not have a dedicated parking garage/lot.
