"This place is the perfect getaway from the city if you want to relax and listen to the sound of water flowing down the stream, birds chirping and waking up to a forest view. I stayed in the red room, which had a HUGE deck, perfect for doing yoga and meditation, though it is a little old as well as the furniture. "The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. We checked in late in the evening and checked out the next morning so didn't get a chance to explore the area. The bed was very comfortable and I especially loved the upgraded quality of the body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I normally travel with my own but didn't on this trip so especially appreciated these."

No A/C in October

"From what I understand, the building switches off the ability to use A/C at the beginning of October, and there is only the ability to switch on the heat. Since it is still warm outside, our room was between 79-81deg F (25-26 deg C) the entire stay. The high temperature in the room made it too hot to sleep at night and was very uncomfortable. There is no recycling on site and the buffet breakfast was the same every morning."
