Hotel & Gasthof Fraundorfer
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (289)
"I liked the cozy feel of being family run, they were super helpful and friendly. The entertainment with dinner was fun and lively. I wish they would have had several less expensive dinner options, perhaps with smaller portions. I did not realize when I booked that there was no elevator, and being over 70, I would've requested being on the 1st floor."

Dorint Sporthotel Garmisch-Partenkirchen
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (795)
"This is a sprawling complex that is tucked away from the main part of Garmisch-Partenkirchen but still accessible via car, taxi, bus, or even just a nice walk. We had a two-bedroom apartment with a balcony. This was plenty of room two parents and two adult children (though they did have to sleep in bunk beds which was throwback to childhood memories). I also enjoyed the free taijiquan class in the adjacent training facility. We plan to stay again."
