**In Northern Minnesota, Mayflies are known to appear near lakes approximately 1-2 times a year. Unfortunately, we can't predict when this may happen.**
Fall: We welcome guests to bring ATV's, bikes and more, however we ask that you respectfully do not ride these in our yard. Instead, checkout the nearby trails and surrounding areas. Looking for another outdoor activity? Bring your hiking boots to explore the state parks nearby.
**Most of the Minnesota bugs are no longer around, however you may want to check for ticks if you are in grassy or wooded areas.**
Winter: Mille Lacs Lake is a fantastic place for ice fishing! Bring your own gear or rent supplies nearby. Enjoy the winter but not into fishing? Bring your snowmobiles, snowshoes or other snow gear! The surrounding area offers plenty of options for all kinds of activities.
**Bring warm clothes, the weather can get cold rather quickly!**
**Check out our sister property (The Bay) right next door.**
