Every thing was great.the pool was really nice but the hot tub went down at around 10:00.the room was nice and comfy.The breakfast was good so was lunch.the elevators looked really cool too.the slide was cool too.I also liked the view at the tenth floor.

When we got to our hotel our reservations had been canceled on the hotel's end. We had to rebook our hotel through them. I paid for a full mountain view through Expedia, and when rebooking, our view looks like a partial mountain view.

I LOVE this hotel location and the people that work there are lovely. It is a beautiful hotel. There was mold in the bath tub though which was a concern, and there were about 20 teenagers running around and hopping on and off of the elevators playing some kind of game. I get it, they were just letting loose, but every time we tried to use the elevator it was a problem. The parents should have been monitoring, but since they weren't I feel the staff could have said something to the teens and or parents. The teens were literally jumping out of the elevator and pushing the button to shut the door and then hopping back in before doors shut so that no one else could get on. It was frustrating. Other than that, we really enjoyed the hotel. The pool area is outstanding!

The Park Vista is a very good place to stay. The rooms are a little dated, but spacious and clean. We had two king beds with a mountain view which was spectacular. The hotel is convenient and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Nice property just up the hill from all the action. Due to the big hill to get up here, I don’t consider this walkable, but there is a trolley that comes have half hour or so. I liked being away from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. It’s just about 3/4 of a mile or so from the main strip. Plenty of parking. From the outside, the hotel looks dated, but inside it is very nice and updated. Staff was super friendly and checked us in quickly and we’re always ready to answer our questions . The view of downtown Gatlinburg from our room, especially at night, is beautiful. Spacious suite , comfortable bed . I will say I was surprised that it’s a dog friendly hotel. There’s dogs everywhere. I’m a dog lover- and I enjoy seeing and meeting them,but I was shocked seeing one pup relieving himself in the middle of the lobby as he just came in from outside. The owners took care of it quickly- so it wasn’t an issue— but it made me wonder if this is also an issue in rooms when owners are leaving their dogs while going out to dinner. I’m not knocking hotels for allowing dogs- I think it’s lovely, but curious if they only allow pets in certain designated rooms to prevent rugs and furniture from being ruined or needing extra cleaning. I assume they do, but a good question to ask in the future if I return. All in all, very happy with our stay here at Park Vista.

The scenery was beautiful- the room was excellent- the beds were very comfortable. 11 year old loved the pool and the water-slide. Didn't like having to pay for parking and parking was a challenge because there were so many cars. Unfortunately, the balcony was unusable due to the seasonal bug infestation in the area - not the hotel's fault- but still a disappointment.

Overall good. Dining was adequate. The bar was very busy with long waits for service. Loved the trolley service to town because walking would have required marathon training in advance😬 Balconies are tiny, no furniture and thousands of lady bugs on them.

They need to work on their app capabilities. It allowed another guest to check into our room and they came into our room in the middle of the night with their entire family and luggage, woke us up and it took the hotel 45mins to sort out the mix up. Then the maintenance person tried to enter our room an hour later without knocking or being requested. We were not given our free breakfast vouchers, were not informed of nightly parking fees and says it is within walking distance of downtown. You CANNOT walk anywhere from this hotel up on the top of a mountain - only way up or down is a super steep road. Pictures were very misleading on the website - the hotel is extremely dated and needs a serious facelift. Very disappointed in the entire experience. Food was sub-par at best. Also the lights in our room didn't work AND there were so many bugs out on the balcony that we couldn't even open our door and enjoy the view or weather which is one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. We will NOT ever be going back to this hotel.
