"It was an amazing hotel on the Athenian riveria. It was nice and quite perfect for my husband and baby. The staff went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable especially making banana avocado smoothies for my picky toddler. The breakfast selection was amazing! The beach is very close by and the room was very conveniently located. Also most rooms have pools. We were tempted to get but assumed it would be cold. But weather was perfect! I will get that next time! "

"In general it is a good hotel, Staff were very friendly and cooperative, one to five minutes walk distance to everything (bus stop, tram, taxis, free beach, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping area and the center of Glyfada), rooms are large enogh, matresses and pillows are comfortable, complimentary water bottles during your stay. "The hotel is ideally situated around 10 minutes walk from the Acropolis and 10 minutes walk from the main shopping area. Staff were super helpful in advising and booking tickets for attractions. Hotel was really clean and well equipped with a Spa and outdoor pool - although the latter was closed during our stay. "

"Excellent location. Right next to the metro. Very helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is extensive. Recommend heading to the breakfast place before 8:30 to get an excellent spot and avoid the high rush. Breakfast with a view of Acropolis. Plenty of restaurants just outside the hotel. Highly recommend MIRONI, just outside. Beautiful view of the acropolis. Highly recommend splurging and booking a room with a view. It was a lot of fun for me and my son to locate our hotel and room from both acropolis and lykabettos hill! "

"Fairly basic hotel but very clean. Very nice staff. Lovely view from balcony and roof top bar. Kettle to make coffee in morning and a mini drinks fridge. Love the shower as nice and powerful. Nice and central Walking distance to most things and very nice food. No problems staying at hotel again. "

Wonderful view of the Acropolis!!

"Athens Gate is so lovely and convenient to everything you would want to see. I never got over seeing the view of the Acropolis from the 8th floor breakfast/dinner/bar! It was just an unbelievable view, very special. The staff were fantastic. They went out of their way to help. We really enjoyed our stay."
