We were disappointed that you could not fish from shore because it’s too shallow and we were informed that the pier would be taken down after we had already paid. You can’t launch the row boat from the shore either due to it being so shallow. So we weren’t able to use the boat either."

The location is superb - perfect for traveling to different waterfalls in the area, pictured rocks, etc! Or, just hanging out by the river and relaxing in nature. The nature preserve nearby was a cool experience too! This campground is such a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to come back!"

"This was a birthday weekend for my 70th birthday. I invited my two daughters their husbands and children along. Age ranges were 5 to 11+5 adults. The kids love the grass and the fire pit and the toys that were around. We brought a monopoly game and had an epic game that stretched several nights. The kitchen was very usable and easy to find things, well equipped. Beds were quite comfortable. Each of my daughter’s families took a bedroom, and I got the master. The smaller room did not have AC...
