Fantastic Stay in Ghent
Everything about our stay was amazing. Joost was a wonderful host. He reached out to us with all of the necessary information well before we arrived and checked in while we were there. The apartment was better than advertised. When we arrived there was water and juice waiting for us as well as snacks. The location is perfect for exploring Ghent. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every kind of gadget you could need. My only concern is that there are two sets of fairly steep stairs which might be a problem for some people it wasn’t for us, and our stay was terrific.

Wonderful Stay in Ghent Townhouse
We met Joost at his business next door, parked our rental car right in front (free parking), and were able to check in early. Everything was spotless, nice sized kitchen, comfortable living room, excellent bed, and amazing bathroom. There were no surprises. HIs maps of the city were very useful as we explored the neighborhood and Ghent Centrum. We walked everywhere, buses were available nearby though. A small grocery was nearby for meats, cheeses, and wine. Recommend this place without hesitation.

The modern and cosy flat is ideally situated , the old town center is within easy walking or cycling distance. The host kindly offered his support repeatedly and we received all the necessary information. The flat contained everything we wished for so we were completely happy with our stay. The space was spacious, modern and bright with A/C in 3rd floor BR which was very welcome with 30C days.The stairs up to the 2 storey apt are steep by N Amer standards. Easytransit to the train station for exploring beyond Ghent especially with the E7.40 round trip for 65+ after 9AM. Interesting Himalayan food store nearby + 2 bakeries. Genial host.

Nice place, pretty town
Very simple and clean. Joost, a nice guy, lives next door and was very kind to two stupid guests who locked themselves out and had to call him on Sunday morning to get back in. The apt is maybe 10 minutes' walk from the beautiful center of town on a reasonably quiet street. We had a terrific time in Ghent.

Very nice place, owner and location!
A very nice apartment with the master bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor and the living room (including a comfortabele couch that can be transformed into a bed) and the kitchen on the floor below (the entrance is on the lowest floor). We had a warm welcome in a very clean apartment with some groceries in the kitchen (coffee, water, some cookies). Very nice! We stayed three nights with two young children and there was a baby bed for the toddler. The staircase is right in between the bathroom and bedroom without any door, so children should be looked after upstairs, to not fall down the stairs. The apartment is near a relatively busy road but you cant hear that inside when the windows are closed. And it's about a 25-minute walk to the city center. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Appartement très cosy!
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet appartement confortable et soigné. Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité et l'amabilité de notre hôte, très à l'écoute de ses locataires. L'accès à la vieille ville est très pratique avec le tramway à deux pas de la maison, et le parking, public bien que très convoité est possible avec l'aide du propriétaire. Attention toutefois à l'escalier un peu raide pour les personnes à mobilité réduite! La situation de la maison permet aussi des découvertes vers Bruges ou la Hollande proche!

Leuk appartement op loopafstand van het centrum
We hebben een prima kort verblijf gehad in dit comfortabele appartement op loopafstand (10-15 minuten) van het centrum. De foto's doen recht aan het appartement dat twee verdiepingen telt. De eigenaar woont vlak bij het appartement en geeft aanvullende informatie over Gent en de omgeving. De keuken, woonkamer, badkamer en slaapkamer (ruim bed, goede matrassen) zijn goed uitgerust. Ook zijn fietsen, tegen meerprijs, te huur. Kleine minpuntjes zijn de niet optimale telefonische bereikbaarheid (bandje zonder inspreekmogelijkheid) van de eigenaar - kan toeval zijn - en het gegeven dat de enige toilet zich in de badkamer op de slaapverdieping bevindt.

Schöne, zentrale Stadtwohnung
Schöne, saubere und modern sanierte Wohnung. Die historische Altstadt ist nach ca. 15 min. Fußweg bequem zu erreichen. Sehr netter, hilfsbereiter Vermieter und gute, schnelle Kommunikation mit ihm. Die Wohnung hat zwei ziemlich steile Treppen, was man evtl. vor der Buchung beachten sollte. Für uns war es kein Problem und wir können die Wohnung sehr gerne weiter empfehlen. Helmut S., Heidelberg

Excellent apartment and location!
Joost's is a wonderful, accommodating host who makes you truly feel like a special guest. He is very helpful even well before arrival with providing directions and tips for getting to and staying in Gent. "Customer service" is five star. The apartment itself is beyond excellent. It is very modern, well maintained, and even better than the description. The two stories and small patio makes it feel even roomier than it is, and the location is ideal. Set back from the street makes it quieter and even though there is a tram stop 100 meters away, we didn't find it necessary because less than a 10 minute leisurely walk put us in the market center. If you are driving into Gent it is also a very easy property to get to. The price and quality are unbeatable and I recommend this to anyone who is interested in staying in Gent. We stayed 10 days and I would stay 10 more if I have the chance.

Fijn appartement!
Een mooi, ruim, verzorgd en schoon appartement op 10 minuutjes lopen van het centrum van Gent! Een mooie uitvalbasis voor een heerlijk bezoek aan Gent. Handig ook dat de auto gewoon voor de deur kan staan. Joost was behulpzaam en gaf ons info over belangrijke dingen in de buurt. We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad en raden het appartement aan iedereen aan!

Spacious and comfortable
Joost was a wonderful host. The apartment is close to public transportation. The apartment was nicely furnished and the neighborhood has restaurants within walking distance. Gent is a wonderful city to stay in and explore Belgium. I would highly recommend this apartment.
