"We enjoyed our stay a lot. Beautiful area to explore. Would recommend this rental in the summer for sure. There is barely any heating so we spent a ton of money on firewood and we were still cold. Otherwise a good experience and loved the sauna."

"This is a top class hotel where everything is done to the highest standarfs and yet it remains friendly and un-fussy. Our superior deluxe room had loads of space and the lighting was good. The Falls restaurant is excellent and was the main reason for our one night stay "

"Lovely receptionist who was very accommodating upon arrival. Room was well presented and clean. Large double bed was comfortable. Bar and restaurant seemed busy however we didn’t eat there. Lovely breakfast with plenty options and the staff were very attentive. Plentiful car parking nearby. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring west cork "

"Very enjoyable stay at the Lansdowne. Room was comfortable, very clean, and very quiet even though we were right beside the street on the ground floor. The bar was very cozy, and had great live music both nights. Highly recommend."

"An excellent hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. A lovely comfortable room, good car parking and a 5-10 minute walk into Kenmare. Only stayed the one night as travellling on further on the ring of Kerry but would stay again to Kenmare and the Beara penninsular next time"

"This property is fantastic. What a wonderful time we had here. My grandsons especially liked playing pool and ping pong. Everything you would need is here. The host, John, responded to any questions we had in a very timely manner. John is a wonderful host. Carla greeted us at the door and showed us everything we needed to know about the property and went above and beyond to meet our needsAnyone thinking about renting this property do not hesitate, you will not be disappointed!"

"We had a great time over Christmas! Deirdre and John are wonderful hosts and their beautiful house offered us more comforts than we anticipated. We took walks to the nearby beach escorted by their dogs, we cooked and reconnected by the wood stoves, and we visited friendly towns nearby. We are grateful for the care and hospitality of our hosts who went over and above to help us properly celebrate the end of a hard year. We hope to go back!"

"This is a lovely cottage and the hosts are very responsive and helpful. It is probably best suited for a warmer season fishing trip than a cold weather stay on the coast.The view from the cottage is gorgeous and the back yard is wonderful."
