"This was the absolute perfect property for our family’s Christmas vacation. Lots of space and activities for the kids and plenty of relaxation options for the parents. Darien is an incredible host who was always easy to get ahold of whenever necessary. 10/10. "

"This house is directly across the road from the lodge and restaurant of Hawk’s Nest State Park. The backyard actually sits against state park lines and there are a few trails right across the road. The area has great views and being in a single family home was wonderful once we arrived with a spacious living room and dining room, board games and comfortably heated! The yard and land were also very spacious and great to walk around with the pups. Great host & will definitely recommend this place...

"We planned a group vacation to GatlinburgTennessee and the Kanawha house was perfect for us for a halfway stop. Even though we only stayed for one night all of our group was really happy with the house. Everything was as described. "

"Plenty of room to relax after hiking all day. Missed the driveway the first time, the property is tucked back in the woods. We saw deer two mornings by the stream outside. Nice place."

"We loved the place. It was very comfortable and the added touch of some treats was a happy surprise. Its location is perfect and the decor is adorable. We couldn’t figure out some of the lights and the main level bathroom has a bit of a sewer smell. Other than that, I would recommend to anyone. Meeko, the friendly neighborhood cat came and visited a few times outside, as well. "

"We had an amazing stay in the south hills charmer, we stayed 3 nights and it was as comfortable as it was charming! The cozy living room was perfect for family time and great memories. The area of town was great, a quick to walk to pizza, gelato and coffee. We also loved the museum and the capitol market. "

"Everything is clean and comfortable. Kitchen is simple but functional - the host even provided complimentary coffee and creamers. Bedrooms are quiet. Great loation - close to New River Gorge and to Fayetteville's main streets (restaurants, shops). "

"We had a great girls trip at this house. It’s within walking distance to downtown. You have to cross the main road but there is a safe walking bridge you can use to go over the road. Owner was very responsive and nice! "

"Peaceful, beautiful getaway. Enjoyed the uniqueness of the home and the quiet we found there. The kids loved the layout of the house and being able to see nature everywhere you turned. The really loved getting to see a deer right outside their window. . W"

"Stayed a full week over Thanksgiving. 2 Grandparents, 4 parents, 2 grandkids, and 3 dogs. Plenty of room outside for kids to play and dogs to be walked. Jacuzzi was nice in the cold evenings. Less than 10 mins to shopping and restaurants and the New River under the fantastic bridge. Five minutes to the visitors center and lookout. Adventure center is even closer. Excellent location!"

"Mr. Husson allowed me to check in a couple hrs. early-which he did not have to. The interior was clean and reasonably furnished. Price was reasonable for area. However, advertisement was misleading. Rental is for a floor/flat of a house. Not the whole house. Finished basement was rented to another party (who had a puppy that cried throughout the nights). Also, yard was trashy with litter strewn about."

"The sty was overall perfect!! Great communication leading up to the visit. All the way through making it to the property. And then throughout the stay. Very useful with information and the property literally felt like I was sitting at my grandmothers house. Such a “home” feeling!! Very much recommend this property "

"Although on a highway route, I didn’t mind the sounds of traffic. I focused and enjoyed the serenity surrounding the cabin. You could hear the water running in the creek while sitting on the swing on the porch. I used the wood burner quite a bit. Slept like a baby and woke up late every day!!"
