Sadly the property is for sale and there is some deferred maintenance such as burned out light bulbs, vent switch not working. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful. "Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. "We had a great time. Everything indoors and out seemed new and worked well. Really enjoyed the boat dock for docking our boat, fishing, and watching the sunsets and full moon-rise on the second story. Our stay was very quiet and peaceful."
