There was fresh milk in the fridge for coffee or tea (both were provided with sugar) and biscuits (cookies). Our first time to this area so enjoyed some river walks and hearing interesting history of Rowhedge gleaned from the very friendly locals. We only had a short stay but got a lot in , including a trip to Wivenhoe on the riverside opposite. Will definitely rebook next time we are 'out East' ."

"We had a great weekend stay here. The room was spacious and very clean. We stayed half board, the breakfast buffet had a great selection and evening meals were superb! Staff are friendly and very helpful. A staff member Angelos ( bar/restaurant) was fantastic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The only slight shame was the bar closing at 10.30 on a Saturday evening. But not forgetting how nice the leisure facilities are. We will definitely return here. Highly recommend ."
