"This little rustic cabin was warm and inviting. Had most of everything you'd need. It is very secluded right on the Crab Run stream which was rolling while we were there from all of the rain. When you walked out on the lovely covered porch it always sounded like rain even if it wasn't raining due to the rolling stream. What a relaxing sound with your morning coffee on the porch. The gas wood stove made it nice and toasty inside and the large fire pit was wonderful for relaxing outside. All in all we loved this place and would go back again. You have to check out the local Sugar Tree Store in McDowell which is a mile away from the cabin. We got to meet Glen the owner of the store. We got an education about the area from him and enjoyed some good ole country hospitality. Be prepared to drive through the NFS mountains to get there and to get to other towns. The drives around were breath taking. "

"My wife and I stayed at John and Linda’s cabin for a couple of nights. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. It is about a 10 minute drive to town but still quiet and peaceful. We got to use the wood stove to stay, although it’s not necessary because the cabin has excellent heating. John and Linda were very responsive whenever we needed anything. We’d definitely return."

"We had a blast in snowshoe in early January with the a big wave of fresh snow. The apartment was lovely. Cozy, very well stocked with everything we needed, and for our dog, super warm in an extremely cold day. The house is just a couple of minutes walk to the powderridge lift. When the camp 4 trail is open, you can actually SISO. Host was quick to respond to our questions and attending to our needs. Would recommend!"

"The house was really big, had everything we needed, and easily accommodated multiple families with a variety of age groups. It was beautifully decorated and the view was absolutely incredible. "

"We were three families with children ranging in ages from 18 to 4 years old and Loggers Run was a great ski-in/out property for us. It is a townhouse with plenty of room, is well-stocked & when we walked out the door we were at the slopes. The garage area is setup to house ski equipment, which is nice. Hot tub was fun while the snow was coming down! Thank you and would definitely book again."

"We had a great stay at the Dome Home. This house is perfect for multiple families with children of different ages. The property manager is extremely responsive. We had a few issues with the house being ready for check-in, but Harmon addressed them immediately as well as one or two other supply issues we had over the few days. His focus on customer service is unparalleled.The hot tub is such a great touch, it snowed like crazy while we were there, and it was wonderful to be able to sit in the hot tub at the end of the day and watch the sunset in the snow. The house is a fantastic location, you just walk right across the street to logger’s run. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. Overall, it was a fabulous trip and we will definitely be back to the Dome Home!"
