"Where to begin!? Schwarzsee Hotel is amazing for skiers who travel across the continents with the mentality to enjoy the outdoors. This hotel is very convenient as it is a ski-in-and-out hotel. With the most amazing views of the Matterhorn and part of the Swiss Alps just out your window. The gondola is one minute walk and to embark further up in the mountains and all the way to Cervinia ski resort which lands in Italy!! The staff at the hotel are polite and helpful, the food is beyond delicious....

"Overall fantastic - views are second to none. The hiking around the area is unreal and it’s great to be there before the first train and tourists descend. Dinner was amazing and servers were extremely attentive. Only feedback is that for the price they could have proper coffee machines in the room! Small thing but in other cheaper hotels there were real coffee machines whereas this was cheap sachets… with nothing else around it would be nice to have a proper coffee. Everything else was amazing...

"My son and I had an amazing 19 days at the hotel and every day was perfect. The staff took such good care of us. They were all very friendly and helpful and fun. The room was exceptional. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the adonis Hotel. We were upgraded to what we thought was the best room in the hotel as it had a balcony and a view of the Matterhorn. You need to be in good health though as there are no cars allowed and the streets are quite hilly. But the cable car access to the mountains was quite close and made for an amazing and unforgettable experience.the breakfast was quite plain but sufficient and the staff were extremely helpful."

Everything in town was walkable (though they sent a free shuttle to pick us up from the train station when we first arrived). We loved the pool and spa and they even made our dog feel at home.
