Good breakfast and on site restaurant. Easy walk into town. Room cozy/rustic with bed a double. Bring your own shampoo, hair dryer and hand towel. If needed. "

"We loved our stay here. Right in the heart of town, we didn't need a car for anything. Rooms are clean, quiet and newly remodeled. We bumped into the owner on the way out and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about where to go in town. Will 100% stay here again when we come back. "

"The map on expedia is incorrect. This hotel is not in downtown guatape. It's a 10 minute ride away. However, 1) the hotel will call you a cheap tuktuk 2) you would have to tuktuk to the piedra anyway 3) there are tons of tuktuks in the town to bring you back. Just make sure you have pesos! There are ATMs in town. Although I was initially sad I couldn't walk out and explore the town, in the end I was very glad to have the peace and quiet (and lake access). Also, the hotel delivers food to your door! Other great things: 1. The staff are so kind and welcoming. I came during the week and had the place to myself. They were patient with me as I practiced my spanish. They give you a whatsapp number and you just text when you have a question.. amazing service! 2. The dog on the property is very chill and sweet. 3. I loved the free paddleboard /kayak access. 4. The views from the room were incredible. 5. I always felt very safe on the premise (and in the town) 6. The massage was amazing and very reasonable. "
